SUNNYD Backing Stenhouse & Hyak In Five Cup Races
HARRISBURG, N.C. – SUNNYD, part of the Harvest Hill Beverage Company family of brands, will back Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Hyak Motorsports in five NASCAR Cup Series races this year.
The renewed partnership will kick off Feb. 2 during the Cook Out Clash at historic Bowman-Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, N.C., and continue with the 67th Daytona 500 at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway on Feb. 16.
In total, the SUNNYD colors will adorn Stenhouse’s No. 47 Chevrolet in five Cup Series races this season, with a sixth sponsored by sister brand Hungry Jack through Hometown Food Company.
Following Daytona, SUNNYD will be on board with Stenhouse April 13 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway and May 4 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, as well as May 18 at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway during the NASCAR All-Star Race.
Hungry Jack will take center stage Saturday night, June 28, at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway.
SUNNYD will be an associate partner with Stenhouse and Hyak Motorsports throughout the year in races where it isn’t a primary sponsor.
“The 2025 season marks the tenth consecutive year that SUNNYD is a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series. We have been with Ricky since his 2013 rookie season and are excited to have him in this SUNNYD paint scheme for the Clash and Daytona 500,” said Henk Hartong, Chairman of SUNNYD. “We’re grateful to our fans and customers for their loyal support of SUNNYD and what can be considered the best paint scheme on the track.
“We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Hyak Motorsports and the No. 47 car and splashing SUNNYD on Ricky in victory lane.”
SUNNYD’s first race as a full primary sponsor with Stenhouse in the Cup Series came May 15, 2016, at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway, when he was with Roush Fenway (now RFK) Racing.
While the brand has yet to visit victory lane with Stenhouse in its primary capacity, Stenhouse did carry the familiar orange colors to a third-place finish at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in October of 2018.
Most recently, SUNNYD sponsored Stenhouse at Hyak Motorsports last April at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
“SUNNYD has been a longtime supporter of mine throughout my career,” said Stenhouse, the 2023 winner of the Daytona 500. “We’ve become family. I’m looking forward to continuing that relationship at Hyak Motorsports and trying to get them in victory lane this year.”
Stenhouse kicks off the year with SUNNYD next month at Bowman-Gray and Daytona, with both races being broadcast on FOX, the Motor Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
