Pit Boss Grills Partners With Creed & Haas Factory Team

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Pit Boss Grills, a leading manufacturer of wood pellet grills and numerous barbecue accessories, has joined Sheldon Creed and Haas Factory Team for select NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season.

The partnership kicks off Saturday at Arizona’s Phoenix Raceway during the GOVX 200.

While a full schedule of races where Pit Boss Grills will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 00 Ford Mustang was not released, the brand marks the second new partner to join Creed in as many weeks, following Road Ranger’s debut with the team at Circuit of the Americas last weekend.

Pit Boss has had an established presence in NASCAR for nearly a decade, as the brand became the Official Grill of NASCAR in 2018, has served as the official grill partner of Speedway Motorsports, and was previously the title sponsor of the annual Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas from 2021-‘23.

Now, the company joins Creed as he pursues both his long-awaited first Xfinity Series win and the season championship in his first year with Haas Factory Team and owner Gene Haas.

Creed heads to Phoenix Raceway’s one-mile oval fourth in the Xfinity Series playoff rankings, behind only the three race winners thus far, and third in the overall standings.

With 108 points scored in the first three races, Creed chases only the Richard Childress Racing duo of Austin Hill and Jesse Love in his pursuit of the regular season championship.

“This season has been a lot of what we hoped for in terms of speed, but we haven’t quite gotten that breakthrough that we want yet in terms of getting to victory lane,” noted Creed, who has six top 10s in seven career Phoenix Xfinity starts. “Hopefully, that can change on Saturday, with Phoenix being a track I’ve always enjoyed and run extremely well at.”

Creed’s career-best mark at Phoenix came in 2023, when he finished second in the season finale behind that year’s champion – and his now-Haas Factory Team teammate – Cole Custer, who drives for the organization in the premier Cup Series.
