Clements Throwing Back To Gant’s Skoal Bandit Colors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Jeremy Clements revealed his paint scheme Tuesday for the much-anticipated NASCAR Throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway, which this year celebrates the track’s 75th anniversary.
Together with longtime partner Harrison’s, a family-owned retail chain specializing in workwear and Western apparel and footwear, Clements will pay tribute to one of the most legendary drivers of the 1980s – International Motorsports Hall of Famer Harry Gant.
The family team will revive the iconic green and white design of Gant’s No. 33 Skoal Bandit Chevrolet from the 1985 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Gant’s impressive career included 21 Cup Series wins and 18 Xfinity Series victories, including eight total visits to victory lane at Darlington. He was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023.
The Taylorsville, N.C., native also earned the 1985 International Race of Champions title and put together one of the most unforgettable months in racing history in September of 1991, with four Cup Series wins in a row and six total NASCAR national series victories during that span.
His 1985 season at NASCAR’s premier Cup Series level included three wins, three poles, 14 top fives, and 19 top 10s en route to a third-place finish in the final point standings.
Alliance Driveaway Solutions, Fox Sports Spartanburg, RE Goodson 3, and Beech Ridge Barber will join Harrison’s as associate partners on Clements’ throwback entry.

It is an honor to celebrate his legacy, and we could not think of a better way to do it than with the support of Harrison’s.”
