Race Face Digital & JRM Ink eNASCAR Licensing Agreement
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Digital Racing Cards LLC, through its Race Face Digital Entertainment Platform, and JR Motorsports have entered a licensing partnership to produce a line of MP4 digital trading cards featuring JRM’s two eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series drivers: Kaden Honeycutt and Briar LaPradd.
The digital trading cards highlighting JRM’s endeavors in the eSports realm will carry images of Honeycutt and LaPradd, along with their virtual Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s, on the front side. The back half of the digital cards will spotlight branding for both JRM and the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series.
It’s a first-of-its-kind partnership in the eSports realm, both for Race Face Digital and for JR Motorsports.
“We’re honored and excited to be working with the staff at JR Motorsports to help boost their brand identity in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, as well as give both Kaden Honeycutt and Briar LaPradd an additional platform for engagement and fan support over the course of the season,” said Race Face Digital founder and CEO Rod Wortham. “Both drivers have been standouts over the course of their eSports careers to this point and we look forward to seeing what they can accomplish this year in their pursuit of the driver and team championships.”
Honeycutt was signed to JRM’s eSports team during the eNASCAR offseason, while LaPradd returns for his second stint with the team after previously racing under the JRM banner during the 2022 season.
Both drivers are seeking their first career victories in the only online racing series officially sanctioned under the NASCAR banner.
“Being able to be a part of this team, even on an eSports level, is something that I never would have thought I’d have the opportunity to do. It’s a bit surreal,” said Honeycutt, who is embarking on his third season of eNASCAR competition and first as a part of JR Motorsports. “The partnership that we’re starting with Race Face Digital is something that’s pretty revolutionary when it comes to being able to shine a spotlight on sim-racing and the Coca-Cola Series, so hopefully we can combine that with some wins and a playoff berth to really give our fans something to be excited about this season.”
“This initiative from Race Face Digital is really going to be something that I believe carries into the future of our sport, both at the track in real life and in the simulated realm,” added LaPradd, whose career-best eNASCAR finish of fifth place came in his third series start at the virtual Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway in March of 2022.
“The digital cards are something that fans can support to help out the drivers they pull for, as well as collecting cards and trading them on the Marketplace just like physical trading cards have been through the years. There’s a lot of good things coming through Race Face Digital that will benefit both sim- and real-life racers alike, and I’m proud to be part of it them and with JR Motorsports in my return to the team.”
The 18-race eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season runs from Feb. 13 at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway through Oct. 1 at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway, at simulated versions of NASCAR short tracks, speedways, and two iconic road courses in the Chicago Street Circuit and England’s Brands Hatch Circuit.
