HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Bubba Wallace isn’t leaving his long-term home in the NASCAR Cup Series anytime soon.

Announced Wednesday afternoon via social media, Wallace has inked a multi-year contract extension to remain with 23XI Racing.

Next season will mark the 30-year-old’s fifth year with the team co-owned by Cup Series star Denny Hamlin and NBA legend Michael Jordan.

“From day one, Bubba has been an integral part of 23XI Racing,” read a team statement. “We’re excited to announce that he has signed a multi-year renewal and will continue to play a key role in helping 23XI grow and succeed.”

Wallace was 23XI Racing’s founding driver when the team debuted three years ago, and the team has since expanded to two cars, with Wallace’s teammate Tyler Reddick earning the Cup Series regular season championship earlier this summer.

Since joining the organization in 2021, Wallace has earned both of his Cup Series victories, 18 of his 21 career top fives, and 33 of his 42 top-10 finishes, as well as all three of his Cup Series pole awards.

Though he went winless in 2023, Wallace made the playoffs that year and finished a career-best 10th in the final point standings. He nearly returned to the postseason again this year, falling just short in the regular season finale at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on Sept. 1.

The Mobile, Ala., native’s most recent victory came in September of 2022 at Kansas Speedway.
