MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Reigning ARCA Menards Series West champion Sean Hingorani found himself a new home for the season on Thursday afternoon.

Announced by team officials, Hingorani has joined Hattori Racing Enterprises and will pilot the team’s No. 61 Toyota Camry across races in all three of the ARCA platform divisions – the ARCA Menards Series East, the ARCA Menards Series West, and select ARCA Menard Series national events.

Fidelity Capital will serve as Hingorani’s main sponsor, with additional support provided by HMS Motorsport and Two Four Speed Media.

Mark McFarland and Jamie Jones will oversee Hingorani’s ARCA efforts with the Shige Hattori-owned organization, which begin with the ARCA Menards Series’ General Tire 150 at Arizona’s Phoenix Raceway on March 8.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be piloting the No. 61 Fidelity Capital Toyota Camry for Hattori Racing Enterprises in the ARCA Menards Series,” said Hingorani. “HRE consistently fields competitive cars, and I’m confident we can challenge the top contenders this season. Returning to familiar tracks with valuable experience under my belt gives me a strong foundation for success.

“I’m grateful for the support of Fidelity Capital, HMS Motorsport, and Two Four Speed Media for the upcoming season. I can’t wait to make our debut together at the season opener for us in Phoenix.”

Born and raised in Orange County, Calif., Hingorani’s family roots trace back to India, and the 17-year-old driver’s Indian heritage is something that he has carried with him throughout his rise up the motorsports ladder.

Last season was a breakout one for Hingorani, who tallied four victories en route to the West Series championship. In 23 combined starts across the ARCA platform, Hingorani earned 17 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes, as well as four poles, while competing for Venturini Motorsports.

Hattori is eager for Hingorani to join his team, which earned a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship in 2018 with driver Brett Moffitt.

“Sean has quickly demonstrated significant potential in his early career, and we’re thrilled to welcome a driver of his caliber to Hattori Racing Enterprises,” tipped Hattori. “His diverse winning record across various racing platforms is a testament to his versatility and adaptability.

“We believe he possesses the talent and drive to achieve great things with our team, and we’re excited to partner with Fidelity Capital to chase success in the ARCA Menards Series.”

The General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway is slated for 9 p.m. ET on March 8, with live coverage on FS1.
