Landon Cox Captures Three Brickyard Victories During NASCAR Youth Series Weekend
Young Georgia Driver Earns Three Coveted Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 2026) — For young racers, few accomplishments compare to winning at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway. During one of the most prestigious weekends in youth motorsports, Landon Cox delivered a performance to remember, capturing three feature victories during the NASCAR Youth Series Brickyard Weekend.
Competing in five different classes over three action-packed days, Cox showcased remarkable speed and consistency against many of the nation's best young drivers. After winning multiple heat races throughout the weekend, he capped off his visit to Indianapolis with feature victories in:
Senior Honda
Light World Formula
Senior Animal
Cox was the only driver during this year's NASCAR Youth Series Brickyard event to capture three feature victories, earning three coveted Bricks in the process. A remarkable achievement at one of the biggest races on the NASCAR Youth Series calendar.
Each victory earned Cox the opportunity to participate in one of motorsports' most cherished traditions—kissing the bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. For generations, champions have celebrated on the famed Yard of Bricks, making the experience one that every racer dreams of and few ever have the opportunity to enjoy.
Throughout the weekend, Cox demonstrated the versatility that has become a trademark of his young career. Racing across multiple divisions requires drivers to quickly adapt to different combinations while maintaining speed and consistency. Cox did exactly that, putting together one of the most impressive performances of the entire event.
"This was an incredible weekend for our entire team," said Cox. "Winning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is something every racer dreams about. To come away with three feature wins and have the chance to kiss the bricks three times is something I'll never forget. I'm so thankful for everyone who worked so hard to make this possible."
A weekend like this doesn't happen without an incredible team behind the driver. Cox would like to thank everyone at Ultimate Quarter Midgets for believing in him and providing the equipment and support needed to compete at the highest level. He offered special appreciation to crew chief Nick Loden, whose leadership, knowledge, and dedication have made him not only an invaluable mentor but also a tremendous role model throughout Landon's racing journey. Cox also thanked Andy Loden and Chris Youngchuck for their confidence in his ability and for continually providing race-winning equipment that allowed him to compete for victories in multiple classes. Their commitment, preparation, and teamwork played a pivotal role in making one of the most memorable weekends of Landon's young career possible.
"We came here thinking if we could just win one Brick, we'd be happy," said Landon's father, Danny Cox. "But every time we set a goal, Landon always seems to one-up it. To leave Indianapolis with three Bricks is more than we ever imagined."
With another marquee event now added to his growing list of accomplishments, Cox continues to establish himself as one of the brightest young talents in quarter midget racing while building momentum for the remainder of the 2026 season.
