Bronson Hawkins Shows Speed and Resolve Through Demanding Doubleheader Weekend

ROGERS, Ark. (June 30, 2026) — Bronson Hawkins turned a challenging two-night
stretch into another important step forward in his development, showing resilience on
Friday at Lucas Oil Speedway before flashing the kind of raw speed on Saturday at
Springfield Raceway that continues to point toward a very bright future.

Competing against a 59-car class on Friday night at Lucas Oil Speedway, Hawkins was
caught up in a pair of incidents during his heat race but still rallied from eighth to fifth at
the finish. He then started third in his B Feature and was running in third position when
the right-front upper shock bolt came out, which pulled the brake line loose and left him
without brakes. Even with the mechanical issue, Hawkins kept the car under control and
brought it home seventh to salvage the night.

If Friday tested the team's toughness, Saturday highlighted Hawkins' speed. Racing at
Springfield Raceway in a program that featured 132 total cars across all categories,
Hawkins was one of the fastest drivers in the pit area. He drove away in his heat race
and had built a lead of roughly four seconds before an off-track moment in Turn 4 under
the white flag dropped him to second by the time the checkered flag flew.
Hawkins rolled off third in the feature and wasted no time moving forward, making a bid
for the lead on lap three. The aggressive move ended with contact that sent him into the
infield, cutting short what looked like a race-winning opportunity. Even so, the weekend
offered a clear reminder of both his ability and his upside. The speed was real, the car
was capable, and the lessons that come from moments like these are part of what
shapes young drivers into serious contenders.

For Hawkins and his team, the bigger takeaway was not just the result sheet but the
level of performance. Between fighting through setbacks on Friday and showing race-
winning pace on Saturday, the weekend reinforced that Hawkins has the talent,
determination, and support system to keep building momentum as the season moves
forward.
