REPUBLIC, Ohio – Cap Henry will return to Jeff Ward Motorsports for his second season at the wheel of the No. 33w 410ci sprint car this year.

Henry will pilot team owner Jeff Ward’s equipment in various World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and High Limit Racing events throughout the upper Midwest, as well as locally at both Attica (Ohio) Raceway and Fremont (Ohio) Speedway.

Last season, Henry swept the track titles between Attica and Fremont, as well as captured the combined Attica-Fremont Championship Series crown.

Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, Premier Planning Services, and Primal Tee Shop will serve as Henry’s major partners during the upcoming season.

“[Last year] was better than we could have hoped as a new team, so with a whole year under our belt, I’m excited to see what we can do this year [by] expanding our schedule,” tipped Henry.

Zack Myers, who has paired with Henry since 2019 and guided him to 32 feature victories over that span, will return to crew chief the team.

Together, Myers and Henry have earned several highlight wins, including the $13,000 Pete Jacobs Memorial at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, in 2020; and the All Star Circuit of Champions-sanctioned Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon (Ohio) Speedway in 2022, which paid $12,000 to win.

“I’m excited to continue working with Jeff (Ward); he has provided the team with really strong equipment, and Gary (Griffith) has been working hard on our motor program,” said Myers. “So long as Cap and I continue to do our part, it’ll be another really good year.”

In addition to their trifecta of championships last season, Myers and Henry also collected both the Attica track title and the AFCS title together in 2020, for a total of five championships together over five years.

While Henry was victorious in All Star Circuit of Champions competition in the past, before the series was acquired by High Limit Racing following the 2023 season, he’s never won with the World of Outlaws.

Henry’s current best finish against the Outlaws is sixth, which came in Ward’s car last May at Attica.

A more detailed schedule for Henry and Ward’s season will be revealed at a later date.
