MOBILE 1, SIGNS-ON AS ENTITLEMENT SPONSORS FOR NEW eSPORTS SERIES
TAMPA, FL – Race Face Brand Development has announced that Mobile1 has signed on as the entitlement sponsors of the Jr. Late Model eSports Series, an online racing series that focuses not just on drivers running simulated race events, but also incorporates individual training to help the racers not only excel on the virtual tracks but in their actual race cars. The series will now be known as the Mobile1 Jr Late Model eSports Series as it kicks off on Thursday, April 2nd.
We are also excited that Madera Speedway will continue its support of the Jr Late Model program and enter into the virtual world as the presenting sponsor for this six-race series. Kenny Shephard said, “We are proud of our efforts to lead the youth initiative to a new level over the past six years in the motorsports community with our program at Madera and we are excited to announce the Madera Speedway as the presenting sponsor for the new Jr Late Model eSports League. 
Our sponsorship will also provide a purse and point fund for young drivers to compete for and enjoy at this uncertain time in our sport. When I look into my crystal ball I see a future iRacing winter series from Madera for kids in our program and kids preparing to get into our 51FIFTY Jr Late Model Series with an integrated training program from RaceCraft 1 powered by the promotional energy of RaceFace Brand Development and the new Jr Late Model eRacing League presented by the Madera Speedway is a perfect launchpad for that program.”
Race Face founder and President Rod Wortham echoes Shephard’s sentiments. “We are really excited that Mobile1 and Madera Speedway are on board with our new series. Seeing some of the early paint schemes on the cars and the excitement of the drivers in both of our divisions has been fun, and we believe they are going to enjoy both the racing and the training.”
The series consists of two different virtual divisions that will start with the Advanced Series and in May we will debut the NEXT Series,” he continued. The Advanced series will be for real-life Jr Late Model racers under the age of 17, and the NEXT Series will be for racers aged eight through twelve who are currently competing in real life quarter-midget cars, bandoleros, legends cars, micro sprints or mini cup cars.
The on-track portion of the series will be comprised of six weekly race events, with the first Advanced Series race scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway “Bullring”. Late Model Stock Cars will be used in this series, with each race distance being 100 laps with a 45-minute time limit. Single car qualifying and a fixed setup format will be featured. Racecraft 1 will provide the setup for each track, which will be used in all cars.
The series will be broadcast digitally on the Global Sim Racing Channel.
