Anthony Alfredo Charges Forward for Top-15 Finish at Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (July 25, 2026) — Anthony Alfredo continued to build momentum in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Saturday afternoon, turning a determined drive into a 14th-place finish in the Pennzoil 250 Presented by Take 5 Oil Change at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Behind the wheel of the No. 96 Ohio Logistics Chevrolet for Viking Motorsports, Alfredo started 20th and spent the afternoon methodically working his way through the field at one of the most demanding and prestigious venues in motorsports.

After crossing the line 19th at the conclusion of Stage One, Alfredo and the No. 96 team continued making adjustments throughout the 100-lap event. As the race unfolded, the Ohio Logistics Chevrolet came to life, allowing Alfredo to consistently gain positions while avoiding trouble on a day when track position proved difficult to overcome.

By the time the checkered flag flew, Alfredo had advanced six positions from his starting spot to secure a solid 14th-place finish. The effort earned valuable championship points and left Alfredo 16th in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series standings as the regular season enters its final stretch.

While Indianapolis didn't produce stage points for the No. 96 team, the afternoon once again demonstrated what has quietly become one of the best stories in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. Viking Motorsports continues to outperform expectations, consistently battling organizations with significantly larger budgets and resources. Through preparation, execution, and determination, Alfredo and the No. 96 team continue to prove that hard work, smart strategy, and relentless effort can overcome the odds week after week.

"Every time you get the opportunity to race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it's special," Alfredo said before the weekend. "As a kid, you dream about competing at a place with this much history. No matter how many times you come back, it's still Indy. You appreciate every lap because you know how fortunate you are to race at one of the greatest tracks in the world."

Alfredo's appreciation for the historic venue was matched by another determined performance from Viking Motorsports. Advancing six positions at Indianapolis may not grab the headlines, but it perfectly reflects the determination and work ethic that continue to define the No. 96 program throughout the 2026 season. As the series heads toward the Chase, Viking Motorsports continues to prove it can compete with—and often outperform—teams with far greater resources.

Alfredo and the No. 96 Viking Motorsports Chevrolet will return to action on August 8 at Iowa Speedway, where the team will look to continue building momentum during the final stretch of the regular season.
