Campers Inn RV Partners With Richard Childress Racing
WELCOME, N.C. – Campers Inn RV, one of the fastest growing RV dealership groups in the nation, has inked a multi-year associate sponsorship deal with Richard Childress Racing.
As part of the agreement, Campers Inn RV will serve as the official RV partner of RCR, starting this year.
“Richard Childress Racing shares our values and goals of delivering best-in-class performance and quality,” said Jeff Hirsch, president and CEO of Campers Inn RV. “RCR is synonymous with success in motorsports, and we couldn’t be more pleased to forge a relationship with such an iconic race team.
“We’re looking forward to a successful partnership both on and off the track.”
RCR will field two full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series entries and two chartered NASCAR Cup Series entries this season. Jesse Love (No. 2) and Austin Hill (No. 21) will drive RCR’s Xfinity Series entries, while Austin Dillon (No. 3) and Kyle Busch (No. 8) return for their second year as teammates in the Cup Series.
“Campers Inn RV is thrilled to be the official RV partner for RCR,” said Larry Peter, vice president of Southern Operations and Finance for Campers Inn RV. “As we continue to venture into the world of professional racing, RCR’s on-track success speaks for itself. Both organizations take pride in being the best in their respective industries, so teaming up with RCR is an honor.
“We look forward to a very exciting and successful season in 2024 and for years to come.”
Campers Inn RV boasts a total of 36 dealerships across 19 states, with the goal of enriching the lives of its customers both at home and on the road, through five-star service and a culture of dignity and respect.
“We have gotten to know the leadership team at Campers Inn RV over the last year and they are a great group of people,” said team owner, chairman, and CEO Richard Childress. “Everyone at Campers Inn RV is family-oriented and customer-focused. Their business aligns well with the many NASCAR fans who bring their campers to races throughout the country.
“We’re proud to represent the company and their dealers across the country.”
Busch earned all three of RCR’s Cup Series victories last season, making the playoffs and finishing 14th in the driver standings, while Dillon hopes to rebound from a disappointing campaign that saw him go winless and rank a career-worst 29th in the Cup Series standings.
On the Xfinity Series side, Hill nearly made the Championship 4 and tallied four wins in that division, finishing fifth in points. Love is embarking on his rookie season in the Xfinity Series with RCR this year.
The NASCAR season kicks off with the non-points Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 4, the traditional season-opening exhibition event for the Cup Series.
Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series calendar begins Feb. 17 at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway with the United Rentals 300.
