Four Drivers. One Champion. NASCAR Xfinity Series Title to Be Decided at Phoenix Raceway
AVONDALE, AZ — The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season will come to an electrifying conclusion this Saturday night as four drivers go head-to-head for the championship under the lights at Phoenix Raceway. After 32 rounds of intense racing, the Championship 4 is officially set: Connor Zilisch, Justin Allgaier, Carson Kvapil, and Jesse Love.
The Championship 4
Connor Zilisch – No. 88 Chevrolet, JR Motorsports
Zilisch has been the breakout star of the 2025 season, scoring 10 wins in his rookie campaign. At just 18 years old, the North Carolina driver has combined maturity and raw speed to lead the field into the desert finale.
Justin Allgaier – No. 7 Chevrolet, JR Motorsports
The defending NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion, Allgaier returns to the Championship 4 after another strong season that included three victories and a stretch of consistent top-five finishes. The veteran from Illinois looks to capture his second career title.
Carson Kvapil – No. 8 Chevrolet, JR Motorsports
The youngest contender in this year’s Championship 4, Kvapil’s consistency and poise throughout the playoffs earned him a seat at the table despite not yet visiting Victory Lane in 2025. He aims to make history by winning the championship without a race win.
Jesse Love – No. 2 Chevrolet, Richard Childress Racing
Love rounds out the field as the lone non-JRM driver. The 20-year-old Californian secured one victory this season at Daytona and has remained a fixture in the top ten all year. Love now looks to bring RCR its first Xfinity Series championship since 2019.
A Battle for Bragging Rights
Saturday’s race will follow the winner-take-all format — the highest finisher among the four championship contenders will be crowned the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion.
For JR Motorsports, the finale represents a chance at organizational dominance, fielding three of the four title contenders. Meanwhile, Richard Childress Racing seeks to play spoiler and reclaim championship glory.
Phoenix Raceway’s unique one-mile tri-oval layout has a reputation for late-race drama and side-by-side action. With a mix of youthful talent and veteran experience in the field, fans can expect a high-intensity finish fitting for NASCAR’s championship weekend.
