HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Landon Cox snagged a win and a runner-up finish during regional quarter midget action over the weekend with the Huntsville Quarter Midget Association.

Cox led every lap in his heat races in the Senior Honda division, going on to an A-main victory over Maris Anne and Issac Willis, who joined Cox on the class podium.

He then added a second-place finish to Anne in the Light 160 main event, during a day of racing in Huntsville that featured action across seven different divisions.

Saturday was Cox’s fourth quarter midget event of the year, after two races in Columbus, Ohio, in January and February and a March 1-3 NASCAR Youth Series weekend on the grounds of Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway during Pennzoil 400 weekend.

Cox’s next planned event is the Dixie Shootout with the North Carolina Quarter Midget Association in Salisbury, N.C., on April 13.
